HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE.

To get this one shot I spent six hours standing infront of Tripod. But worth it.....

This is my best shot at NDP2007.

The blog I like for General Aung San.......

Thank you so much for my sister.

The blog I like.

Today I upgrade to Cannon EOS 400D.

Here you can see my photos taken by me...

STOMPer P Wong captured this beautiful shot of a full moon on Vesak Day, which seemed to emphasize the miracle of the religious holiday. Taken from his apartment at Thomson Road, the black and white shot seemed to have ironically intensified the brilliance of the full moon as it majestically looked upon the land below from the Eastern direction. In the background was the Airport on the left corner while Suntec City sat serenely on the right. In the foreground was the busy Upper Thomson Road, which will be namedThomson Village, with all the good food outlets.A full moon day holds a special significance among Buddhists because certain important events associated with the life of Lord Buddha took place on full moon days. Full moon days had marked His birth, His renunciation, His Enlightenment and the delivery of His first sermon. His passing away into Nirvana and many other important events associated with His eighty years of life also occurred on full moon days.

One-half the troubles of this life can be traced to saying yes too quickly and not saying no soon enough.

Josh Billings

Everyone likes people who say "yes" .Unfortunately, at times you have to say "no".

Saying "no" does not have to be an arduous, unpleasant ordeal. It can be a direct statement of your thoughts and desires, delivered honestly and professionally. Here are smoe way to say "no" gracefully:

  • Prepare people for bad news.

  • Leave no room for doubt.

  • Look on the bright side.

  • Lets facts speak.

  • Offer alternatives.

  • Do it in person.

Do you dread receptions, banquets and other bussiness-related social events???

Smile and make eye contact during conversation.People feel when you appear to focus all your attention on them.So here are a few tips that business professionals can use to inprove small-talk skills;

  • Be the first to say "HELLO".

  • Introduce yourself.

  • Smile first and always shake hand when you meet anyone.

  • Take your time during introductions!

  • Maintain eye contact.

  • Ask somebody why they are attending the event.

  • Give your full attention.

  • Play the conversation game.

  • Do not act like a Special Agent.

  • Be ware of Body Language.

  • Prepare EXIT lines.

Only the good feel guilty...
Bad people don't feel guilty , they are too busy being bad.Good pople guilty because they are good and they feel have done wrong, let somebody down, made a mistake or screwed up somewhere.Good people have a conscience.Bad people don't.If you fell guilty, that's good sign.It showsyou are on the track. But you have to know how to deal with it, because guilt is a terribly selfish emotion. It is wasteful and pointless.Yes , we all make mistakes. We all screw up from time to time.
We don't always do 'the right things.'
